About the author

When Patrick Null went to college, those were the best years of his life. He didn't do anything with the degree he earned, but he got saved in college and met his wife. From there, they had two children, and now he works full time at a grocery store, trying to make ends meet. He's always had a passion for writing, but was always afraid to take that next step into publication. Then one day, a lightening bolt came down, and Pat heard a loud, booming voice to write fiction about Him, the all mighty creator of the universe. Okay, not really. But he did feel a stirring in his soul to use his talent to spread God's love through his writing. And he wouldn't have it any other way. And why is he referring to himself in the third person? What will happen to Evan Foster?

Three years after a tragic house fire, a youth pastor is still seeking forgiveness for himself and reconciliation with his son. Still running from the past that mercilessly haunts his dreams, Evan Foster tries to make up for his mistakes by attempting to reach a couple of troubled teens for Christ in Chicago.
